The location was perfect, however our plans changed at the last minute and we were late getting settled into our room after spending the afternoon whale watching. Our intention were to spend the night exploring Victoria. But our adventure on the water outweighed our disappointment in exploring Victoria itself. The reviews for this motel were not the best, but we both found it met our expectations with a bath to relax in. The late checkout was great and it was only a short stroll down to the parking garage.

The location for the price is great. Honestly this is one of those places that you are booking just because of how convenient it is, you have to be realistic and understand that you are not staying a the Ritz Carlton but we had a great sleep and the staff was kind and helpful. I do have to mention that we had the luck to stay on the 4th floor because there is a bar attached to the hotel, and I can see how if you stay maybe don't the first floor, you'd be disturbed by what's going on there.

The central location was a game changer for our mini-vacation. If that weren't enough, we had a view of the water, comfy reading chairs, and a working fireplace? We were able to do all the sightseeing we could want, walk to our choice of pubs in the evening, or take tea two doors over at Murchie's, yet come back to our room and relax with a good book. This may be our new favorite stay in Victoria to date.

The room was nice and very comfortable. I really liked how it was so central and great for getting around. Lots of places to eat and an easy walk to the water, Legislature, Fisherman's Wharf and many other sites. The staff let me keep my overnight bag in a locked room when I arrived too early for my room. They also kept my bag when I had to be out of my room but wasn't leaving Victoria until later that day.

Nice quaint room, loved the jacuzzi tub, and how the hotel is right in downtown. The restaurant across the way is amazing too it’s called Earls. The bar downstairs had great service but not great chicken wings. Love how you couldn’t hear other guests so it was quiet but street noise is very loud because you’re in downtown.
